Hello!

Nice to meet you!  My name is Sharon.  My photography journey began when I picked up my first (non-disposable) camera when I was in middle school.  I loved taking action shots of my brother and his friends skateboarding in our driveway or noticing the expressions of my younger cousins so focused on a game in my grandparents' basement.  I'm also fascinated by the sunlight, how it

creates a warm glow, comes through in rays, and casts shadows.  In all sessions, my goal is to catch authentic reactions, the little moments that reveal the joy and beauty of someone's personality and relationships.  I enjoy the whole process of working with clients to make their vision a reality and produce something authentic, creative, and meaningful so that they can look back on this little time capsule, slow down just a bit, and savor the moment from that season of their life.

In my daily life as a teacher and coach, I'm patient, encouraging, and have an eye for detail.  I'm also a photographer because I fell in love with this art form and want to use it to celebrate YOU.  Creating is in my blood, and it's a privilege to meet people and create something for them that brings them joy.  When I'm not teaching, coaching, or taking photos, I love to hike, jog, bike, paint, do various DIY projects, and spend time with my fam/friends.
